"Friedrich Jürgensen is the father of Electronic Voice Phenomena. He was a painter and hobbyist birdwatcher. While recording birdsong he heard voices. At first he thought they were aliens. Later he thought they were the spirits of dead humans. He called them his friends. I am speaking Jürgensen's words in these videos. The visuals are generative animations I made which remix a series of Peter Greenaway watercolor paintings (from his short film "Vertical Features Remake")."
